Brooke Williams
Brooke Williams has always been intrigued by the power of data to shape decisions, systems, and outcomes in our society. She began her career as a Data Manager at a small Clinical Research Organization and later at UVA Health, where she became increasingly interested in the untapped insights lying just beneath well-maintained datasets.
Brooke went on to become the first woman to earn a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Virginia’s School of Data Science. Since then, she has worked as a Data Scientist with a focus on the ethical and effective use of data to generate meaningful insights. Most recently, she has applied her expertise to real-world data research for medical device companies.
While Brooke enjoys the challenge of solving complex problems with data, she believes that the best solutions don’t always come from more complicated analysis. Her experience across the entire data lifecycle enables her to take a holistic, thoughtful approach to problem-solving—balancing technical precision with practical impact.
