Phil Schrank, MD
A highly acclaimed orthopedic surgeon and Kerlan Jobe Fellow, Phil Schrank has served as an assistant team physician for prominent sports organizations including the LA Lakers, LA Dodgers, Anaheim Angels, LA Kings, USC Football, LA Galaxy, and Anaheim Ducks. Recognized for outstanding clinical research, he dedicated over 20 years to orthopedic practice before transitioning to enhance the services at Fellow Health Partners (FHP), a healthcare solutions and billing firm. For the past four years, he has been a member of FHP’s fiduciary and advisory board, contributing as an owner and clinical advisor.
In December 2023, Phil Schrank attained national certification from the American Association of Physician Coders as a billing and coding instructor, with a specialization in Orthopedic Surgery. His extensive healthcare background includes leadership roles such as Executive Committee member for a large private orthopedic practice, medical staff president, Board of Trustees member for Catholic Health Services, design consultant for Zimmer Biomet, marketing advisor for Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and most recently, Chief Strategy Officer at the Orlin and Cohen Orthopedic Group within Northwell Health.
